Anak Sebagai Warisan Tuhan: Kajian Teologis Mazmur 127:3-6 Terhadap Praktik Childfree Di Kalangan Keluarga Kristen

Praktik childfree sebagai keputusan sukarela untuk tidak memiliki anak semakin mengemuka di kalangan keluarga Kristen kontemporer, menimbulkan pertanyaan teologis serius terhadap Mazmur 127:3-6 yang menyatakan anak sebagai warisan dan upah dari Tuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji makna teologis “anak sebagai warisan Tuhan” dalam Mazmur 127:3-6 dari perspektif Injili serta implikasinya terhadap praktik childfree. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, meliputi analisis eksegesis teks Ibrani, struktur paralelisme, dan sintesis teologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata נַחֲלָה (naḥălâ) dan שָׂכָר (śākār) menegaskan anak sebagai bagian integral dari desain pernikahan yang tidak dapat ditolak secara sukarela, sementara metafora anak sebagai anak panah (חִצִּים) menggambarkan anak sebagai perlengkapan strategis bagi perjuangan iman. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa childfree sebagai pilihan sukarela tidak dibenarkan secara teologis, namun infertilitas karena kondisi medis membutuhkan pendampingan pastoral yang penuh kasih. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya meliputi studi eksegetis Perjanjian Baru tentang keluarga rohani serta penelitian empiris tentang konseling pastoral bagi pasangan infertil.
