Analisis Eksegetis dan Dogmatis tentang Identitas Antikristus dalam 1 Yohanes 2:18-27

Istilah "Antikristus" dalam teologi populer sering kali direduksi menjadi figur politik eskatologis semata. Namun, surat 1 Yohanes 2:18-27 menyajikan perspektif berbeda: antikristus adalah realitas masa kini yang muncul dari dalam tubuh gereja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi identitas teologis dan sosiologis "antikristus" tersebut. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksegese gramatikal dan analisis dogmatika, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa antikristus merujuk pada kaum separatis (secessionists) yang memisahkan diri dari persekutuan rasuli. Kesesatan utama mereka adalah penyangkalan terhadap inkarnasi Yesus Kristus (proto-Gnostisisme). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa semangat antikristus adalah setiap ajaran yang mendikotomi Yesus sejarah dan Kristus iman, yang harus direspons gereja melalui pengurapan Roh Kudus dan keteguhan pada ortodoksi.
